The Big Game Dozen from Krispy Kreme and Blue Friday in Seattle

It's an exciting time when your city's team is playing in the Super Bowl LX! The Seattle Seahawks are playing the New England Patriots this Sunday at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. This will be the fourth time the Seahawks have played in the Super Bowl, and one of those times resulted in a win in 2014. I wanted to find a themed dessert for this year, so when I saw they were selling a Big Game Dozen at Krispy Kreme, we went and bought one. These boxes feature three football-themed doughnuts, a football one, a heart with Seahawks colors, and a goal post doughnut. These doughnuts are so cool, and Krispy Kreme always does such a good job with their designs, especially for a national chain.

Since today is Blue Friday in Seattle, a time when the city shows its support for the upcoming game by coming together in the community, a lot of the downtown landmarks were lit up in Seahawks colors. The Space Needle was no exception, and we just happened to be going to Seattle Center to grab a bite to eat right at blue hour. The Space Needle was lit up so beautifully in blue, and it looked so vibrant against the sky. Since blue is my favorite color and I've always been low key obsessed with it, I couldn't stop taking photos on my phone.

The game is in a couple of days, and I hope we win! Go Hawks!
