Here are my favorite travel photos I took this year! In February 2025 my sons and I flew to Orlando, Florida to Disney World. It was our first time to FL, and we loved it there! The tropical weather and theme parks make this a popular destination, and I'll definitely be back! A couple of months later, in April my family and I went to Vancouver, BC for two nights. This is one of our favorite cities to explore, and to eat in!
In the summer we visited family in Sequim and visited our first lavender field there. These farms are a photographer's dream. In July we visited family in Montana, where I grew up. The summers in NW MT are unmatched, with the long days, warm weather, clear blue lakes, and an abundance of outdoor activities.
Here in Seattle, we had some new attractions open this year. In May a brand-new hotel and rooftop bar opened in Pioneer Square. Fern is Pioneer's Square's first rooftop bar, so of course my husband and I went to check it out. You can see the post here. The views of the city are unmatched, so one of those shots made it into this travel post. Also in the summer, a new playground opened on the Seattle Waterfront, the Pier 59 Playground. You can see that post here. This playground made such a great addition to the waterfront area!
In October we visited Bob's Corn and Pumpkin Farm in Snohomish. This farm was so fun to check out during the fall! I took a lot of photos of the pumpkins and the fall-themed snacks we tried. You can see the post here.
The vibes at Disney Springs are unmatched! This is the perfect spot to dine and shop on your WDW rest day, or any day you don't visit the theme parks. You don't need a theme park ticket to visit and parking is validated. The amount of really good dining here is incredible.
Cinderella's Castle at blue hour, right before dark. So many photo opportunities at Disney World!
The Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom in Disney World. I fell in love with this park and can't wait to return!
Slinky Dog Dash in Disney's Hollywood Studios was one of my favorite rides.
Vancouver, BC is one of those cities that has everything. From sweeping city views, to nature all around, and incredible food at every turn. Vancouver locals know how lucky they are to reside there.
We love to watch the seaplanes take off and land at Coal Harbour in Vancouver.
In Sequim, WA we visited Jardin Du Soleil lavender farm, and it was so cute! The lavender smelled so good and the gift shop was chock full of wonderfully fragrant lotions and other treasures.
You can never take too many photos of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. My family and I had a picnic at the Lake McDonald campground, and our kids played in the lake. So many sweet memories at this place.
And like Lake McDonald, you can never take too many pictures at Pike Place Market in Seattle. Going to this iconic public market never gets old.
At the end of March, we checked out the rooftop bar, Altitude Sky Lounge, on top of the Astra Hotel. We loved the views of the Space Needle and the new buildings that make up the ever-expanding South Lake Union. You can see the post from our visit here.
The views from atop the rooftop bar, Fern.
The new Pier 58 Playground on the Seattle Waterfront.
Towards the end of the summer, we visited Alki Beach and had a fun afternoon dining, hiking, and playing on the beach. You can see that post here.
A shot of the pumpkins at Bob's Corn and Pumpkin Farm in October.
Thanks for checking out my favorite 2025 travel photos! Here's to a new year of travels and memories in 2026!
