December Moments
As we wrap up December and the holiday season, I wanted to share some festive highlights and moments from the month! Christmas is a special time for me, and as I get older, the holidays feel even more nostalgic and wonderful. It really is a magical time, and my inner child loves this time of year!
RIP to this festive glass I bought this year at the Dollar store. On Christmas Eve, I accidently broke it. At least I got to use it once or twice!
I made Cookie Butter Fudge, which is always a hit with my kids.
We always like to visit the Seattle Center Armory to check out the decor and the train!
Every year my mom makes a wreath from the greens at her farm in MT and mails it to me! It always smells like fresh pine!
Since my favorite Christmas movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, I set up a photo featuring eggnog in a glass like they have in the film, and this fun tin we found at the store.
My sons bought these Gingerbread kits at the new Five Below store in Lynwood. One was an Oreo one and the other was a Minecraft one!
On the night before Christmas Eve, my sons and I baked sugar cookies and decorated them. I have a Mickey and Minnie Mouse cookie cutter set, so I use those for mine!
My sons and I went on a neighborhood night walk and saw these cute Bluey holiday inflatables. So neat!
Thanks for checking out my December Moments post. Here's to a very happy new year in 2026!
