Lunch at Moxies in Richmond, BC

 

An Espresso Martini from Moxies, just $5 CA for this 1.5-ounce cocktail with Ketel One Vodka. 

For lunch during out family's overnight in Richmond, BC we dined at Moxies. They are a premium casual restaurant located in the Sandman Hotel by the Vancouver Airport. Their menu is vast, with many options for everyone. I ordered a White Peach Bellini which is a frozen drink with Captain Morgan's Rum, white peach puree, peach schnapps, sparkling wine, and Sangria. This was super refreshing and fruity, and not a bad price for around $11 CA. 

To eat, I ordered the Tiny Tuna Tacos. These came with three crispy wonton shells with diced ahi-tuna and guacamole, and a sesame soy dipping sauce. The serving was small, but the tacos were so fresh and flavorful. This made a for a nice, light lunch! My husband ordered the Pork Belly Ramen. This had slowed cooked pork belly that was so crispy, along with a miso broth. My son ordered the Spicy Tuna Sushi Roll, and my other son ordered a Cheeseburger and Fries from the kid's menu. It also came with a drink and some vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. 

For dessert my husband and I shared an Espresso Martini. I love this classic cocktail, and they have a solid one at Moxies. For just $5, this is a great deal. We were impressed by this Richmond spot, with its good location, friendly service, and tasty food and drinks!
