A Visit to Bob's Corn and Pumpkin Farm in Snohomish, WA

October in the PNW means visiting pumpkin patches! There's a large number of farms to choose from. Most of these local farms and pumpkin patches offer outdoor activities, concessions, and plenty of pumpkins and other in season produce to purchase. I selected Bob's Corn and Pumpkin Farm, located in Snohomish, which is approximately 33 miles northeast from Seattle.

We visited on a Friday afternoon and there was lots of traffic. We also ended up behind a school bus, which made lots of stops that afternoon. We also made a couple of wrong turns. Needless to say, it took over an hour to arrive at the farm. But when we arrived at the 250-acre farm, our son said it looked "vibey", so that kind of made the drive worth it.

Parking is free, and the lot is big. Admission is 17.99 per person and that includes all kinds of fun farm activities such as slides, swings, tractor rides, a corn maze, and much more. But you don't need a ticket for the food and drinks stands, the Country Store, or the pumpkin patch. We didn't buy tickets, and we had so much fun just walking around, checking out the Country Store, taking photos of the pumpkins and apple carts, and getting some yummy fall themed treats!

They have the cutest fudge shop called Ellie Mae's Fudge. Here we bought some Birthday Cake Fudge for my son and some Pumpkin Cheesecake Fudge for me. The pieces are really thick and are $5.95 each. The fudge was so creamy and sweet, and mine tasted just like Pumpkin Cheesecake. Then we waited in the really long line at Sarah's Sweets for doughnuts and ice cream. We waited for about 45 minutes, which sounds crazy, but we took turns waiting in line. For part of the time, I took photos of the farm and the pumpkins, and the rest of the time by husband and sons bought some Curly Fries from another stand and ate them.

We bought half a dozen of the Pumpkin and Apple Cider Doughnuts with cinnamon and sugar. This was our first time trying Apple Cider Doughnuts and they didn't disappoint. We also really enjoyed the Pumpkin ones. We ordered a sundae with vanilla soft serve, topped with caramel sauce and an Apple Cider Doughnut. This absolutely hit the spot. What a dessert! Especially to eat at a pumpkin farm in October. Chef's kiss.

Because of traffic, it took over an hour to drive home, but it was definitely worth it! We visited on a Friday, and we were told weekends were really busy. But they do have more food options then. Whether you buy tickets and do the activities or just do like us and go for the vibes and snacks, you're sure to have a really fun experience.
