A Senior Photo session at Discovery Park

I recently did a Senior Portrait session in Discovery Park! The weather was perfect for late September. The late afternoon sun was low enough that it wasn't in my subject's eyes. Discovery Park is huge, so we had many backgrounds to work with. For Senior sessions I always recommend at least two outfit changes, to switch up the vibe and show off all sides of their personality. 

We started in front of the lighthouse. This gave us such a pretty background, especially since the sky was blue and the clouds looked neat. Her outfit also matched the lighthouse and sky, so that really worked. Then I had her pose on the beach, with the gorgeous blue water behind her. We also took some shots of her sitting on a log with dune grass in the background. 

Then it was time to head to the other side of Discovery Park. There are multiple parking lots there, so we drove to the main entrance and parked by the Visitors Center. After she changed into a pretty floral dress, we walked over to the forest area of the park, near the kid's playground. She had fun posing by the maple trees and in the trails. 

This was such a fun Senior Portrait session at Discovery Park!
