Halloween Cocktails at Bai Tong Thai
For themed Halloween drinks this season visit Bai Tong Thai! If you love decked out cocktails with a lot of details and theming, you'll love the signature drinks right now. The owner loves coming up with specialty drinks from movies and any kind of pop culture. We visited two years ago in October when they had the whole restaurant decked out in a Harry Potter theme. This year they have a Wednesday Addams theme and a whole wall filled with spooky Halloween decor. My husband and I dropped in for a cocktail. We sat at the bar and were shown an iPad with lots of themed cocktails to choose from. I selected the When Wednesday Wept drink. I had no idea of how elaborate the drink presentation would be and was happily surprised when the bartender placed the whole set-up in front of me.
We enjoyed looking at the props surrounding my drink, and there was even some chocolate covered pretzels to pair with the drink. The cocktail itself was so good! There was bourbon with berries and notes of dark chocolate. My husband chose an Only I Get To Torture Him drink. His cocktail came in a big fish and there were so many cute details on the plate. His drink featured Blue Curacao, and it was fruity and a little spicy.
Both drinks were pricey, however, about $24 each. This was probably because of the details and set-up of the drinks and since they took a little while for the bartender to assemble.
