The Chinatown International District Food Walk | August 2025

This Saturday our family attended the CID Food Walk, held in Seattle's Chinatown- International District. There were 52 businesses participating and we were given a map, along with the menu items for each spot. Each item for the Food Walk was $6, but you could order anything on the menu for the regular price.

Our first stop was Chengdu Taste where my husband got a beer. Next up we walked half a block down to Hood Famous Bakeshop where I ordered the Ube Halo Halo Soft Serve. This was tasty and full of Ube flavor, and we liked the texture of the Rice Krispies on top. The soft serve was the perfect consistency and I'm happy I got to finally try the Hood Famous Bakeshop one.

Then we went over a block to Chungchun Rice Dog and Mochinut so our sons could get a Korean Corn Dog and a Mochi Donut. They ordered a Potato Mozzarella Corn Dog, and one son got a Churro donut and the other a Nutella one. We ended our food walk at Thai Place inside Uwajimaya. My husband and I shared an order of the Chicken Pad Thai and a Thai Iced Tea that was really refreshing. The Pad Thai was steaming hot and a little bit spicy. It really hit the spot and was a nice way to end the food walk!
