A Visit to Laka Saigon to try a Labubu Milk Tea
My Full Topping Milk Tea with a Labubu from Laka Saigon in Seattle's I.D neighborhood!
Located in Seattle's International District you'll find Laka Saigon. This Vietnamese spot serves up authentic street food from Saigon. I didn't visit for the food; however, I was in search of some Milk Tea topped with an adorable and edible Labubu. If you've been living under a rock and have never heard of a Labubu, these plushies are the latest trend. They're very in-demand and people love to collect them and use as bag charms. They were designed by a Chinese artist in 2014 but weren't popular until this year because of social media.
When I saw on Instagram that Laka Saigon had edible ones on their drinks, I sent them a message to make sure they had them currently and went over to get a drink. I chose the Full Topping Milk Tea which is Jasmine Milk Tea and then topped with Tapioca Pearls, Flan, Mango topping, and a really cute blue Labubu pudding. The texture was super soft, bouncy, and slightly sweet. The flan topping was our favorite, and the tea itself was so refreshing!
I had so much fun taking photos of my Milk Tea. This was such a visually stunning drink and the Labubu topping was so cute and unique. I also brought my mini Labubu figurine to pose it next to my drink, and I rocked my Labubu tote bag and my brand-new Sanrio plushie!
Would you try a drink with a Labubu on top?
