A Mariners Game at T-Mobile Park

Some eats from Marination Ma Kai at T-Mobile Park!

Last night my family visited T-Mobile Park to watch the Mariners play some baseball. They were playing the Houston Astros. Houston won the game. We didn't stay until the end of the game because ten p.m. is late for our boys to be out. And let's be honest, I like to be home early these days now that I have kids!

We arrived right when the gates opened, about ninety minutes before the game started. It wasn't super busy yet and the lines weren't long for food. By the time we left, it was super crowded. The stands were packed with fans, and there were thousands of people there. We bought a lot of food and drinks. Everyone in the family wanted something different. Our boys had some Garlic Fries, and then they got one of the value items for dinner. This year for the first time, T-Mobile Park is offering certain menu items for cheap. A hot dog, nachos, and Red Vines are just $3. We bought one of each. My son wanted a Coke, so we bought the $9 Souvenir soda cup which gets you unlimited refills.

My husband and I each had a drink at the Hit It Here Cafe, at the bar. I had a local Cider, and he had a Rum cocktail with orange juice and pineapple drink. You can bring your beer, cider, or wine outside of the bar area and around the stadium, just not the cocktails. He also tried a canned cocktail, a Grapefruit Paloma from another place. We each had some Hawaiian food from Marination Ma Kai. We had the Lunch Plate. I had the Kalua Pork, and he had the Huli Huli Chicken. It came with a Hawaiian Roll, white rice, and Macaroni Salad. It tasted fresh and good! This is a nice option if you don't want to eat regular ballpark food like pizza and hot dogs.

It was supposed to be Firework Night, but we only saw a couple of fireworks. I'm guessing most of the fireworks happened after we left. We were also able to score free parking on 1st Ave, about a ten-minute walk south of the stadium. They also have cheap tickets for Mariners games. We paid ten bucks each, but our seats were really high up and it was hard to see the game. We would have stayed longer if we'd had better seats. This was our first time going to a Mariners game since before Covid. And our first game inside T-Mobile Park. The stadium used to be called Safeco Field back in 2018.

A baseball game at T-Mobile Park is a really fun summer activity. Just expect crowds and long lines for food!
