Dinner at La Palmera for their Christmas Pop Up Bar

 

The Santa Pinata Punch from La Palmera, one of their holiday cocktails from their Pop Up Bar! 

This is the third year in a row we've dined at La Palmera in SLU for their Christmas Pop Up Bar. This year they had even more festive decor, and we loved the grand and cheery entrance when we first walked in. They have a bright and Christmasy walkway leading to the host stand, and you'll feel like you're the star in a Hallmark movie. They even had 80's music blasting the entire time we were there, which for me, is pure perfection. My only mistake was not getting my photos right away of the walkway, since when we left, it was full of people waiting. 

We had a reservation, and we were seated upstairs this time. I ordered a Santa Pinata Punch, and it arrived in an adorable snowman mug. To eat, I had the Quesabirria Tacos with rice and beans. These didn't really hit and were under seasoned. The place was hopping and there were a lot of large tables, having their holiday gatherings. It is family friendly, too! The vibes were so fun and festive, the perfect start to the weekend before Christmas!
