Snowflake Lane from above | The viewing experience from Mirra in Bellevue
A whimsical float from Snowflake Lane, which is held every December and is nightly at 7 pm.
I love parades, but not so much the crowds! So, this year for Bellevue's Snowflake Lane, I booked my family and I viewing tickets from the third-floor balcony at Mirra. Snowflake Lane is nightly from Nov. 28th-Dec. 24th. There's fake snow, a parade, and performers. It gets very packed and in the past our family has attended but not been able to see the parade. I booked us tickets though Mirra's website, and each ticket included parade viewing from their heated balcony, unlimited popcorn, candy canes, and hot cocoa. Mirra is an entertainment venue with food and drinks. They have gaming, including VR, a large bar, and tables for dining.
Since the parade started at 7 pm, we went to the balcony about ten minutes before, getting our hot cocoa and goodies. It's standing only, but there was a random table to place our things. The view from above of the parade and event happenings was really nice! The parade lasts about thirty minutes, and luckily the balcony at Mirra was heated. It was so fun to watch the parade from above and actually be able to see it! This was a one and done for our family, paying for the balcony viewing, but it was cool to try it! Kids under 12 are free, but otherwise it's $20 per person.
Is Snowflake Lane a tradition in your family every year? Have you ever done the balcony viewing from one of Bellevue's restaurants?
