Radiator Whiskey

Located in Pike Place market in the Corner Building, is Radiator Whiskey. This 21 and over establishment has many choices of Whiskey and is full of character. The servers and bartenders are friendly and they even give you a bowl of popcorn when you sit down.

For our latest date night, my husband and I popped in for cocktails before our dinner reservation at Matt's in the Market, which luckily for us, was right across the hall. The drink I chose at Radiator Whiskey was a Smoked Maple Old Fashioned. It had smoked infused Jim Beam Rye, maple, angostura, and was finished off with an orange peel. Then finally, one of those sweet cherries soaked in liquor that we all know and love in our Old Fashioned. The drink packed some punch and I could feel its effects a couple of sips in. I loved the flavor of the drink and how it varied from a typical Old Fashioned. The maple flavor was nicely incorporated and I savored every drop.

It was a hopping place with a line out the door when we left around 6 pm. We got two of the last seats at the bar and sometimes it pays to arrive at a bar right at 5:00 if you want a prime spot. Now I can add Radiator Whiskey to my Pike Place Market list of favorite places. I've lived in Seattle for years and I'm still discovering them.
