Happy Hour at Central Bar and Restaurant in Bellevue

The Giant Pretzel with beer cheese from the happy hour menu at Central Bar and Restaurant.

If you're looking for a happy hour spot in downtown Bellevue, check out Central Bar and Restaurant. Their happy hour is daily from 3-5 and the menu is sort of hidden in the cocktail menu. They have well drinks for just $7 and Margaritas for $10. There's also some amazing appetizers to choose from. We selected a couple of the Giant Pretzels to share.

Their interior is warm and vibrant, and it gives an upscale vibe. They serve Northwest fare and small plates, along with classic cocktails. My husband and I each ordered a happy hour Margarita. To eat, he chose the Steak Tacos and my son and I shared the Filet Mignon Steak Bites. They were sauteed in a sweet Thai chili sauce, and there was a chimichurri sauce on the side for dipping. The Thai chili sauce was a little spicy and the steak was cooked medium. The baked pretzels were perfect for sharing and we enjoyed the beer cheese, served on the side.

This cat sculpture, located outside by the restaurant's entrance, is on loan from the Bellevue Art Museum.

Another sculpture in Bellevue is this new 23-foot sculpture called the Piloti. It was installed at the downtown Bellevue Park this May! Before we had dinner, we walked around the park and hung out at the Imagination Playground. I also took these photos, since I had been wanting to check out the sculpture.

There's so much to see in Bellevue, WA! What's your favorite thing to do in Bellevue?
