A Visit to Miss Boba in Renton

If you're a boba tea lover, then check out Miss Boba. They have a location in Kent and a new one in Renton. I visited their new location for a drink. I ordered a Brown Sugar Boba Creme Brulee Fresh Milk drink. It was pricy at around $10. I hadn't had a boba drink since last fall, so this was a special treat for me. I find it hard to justify the cost of these drinks sometimes. I do love the presentation and the uniqueness of them, so a few drinks a year works for me.  

The store was pretty with lots of seating and nice lighting. They were busy, so I waited about ten minutes for my drink. My boba drink looked nice with the creme brulee topping, which I saw the worker use a torch to add a touch of caramelization. The drink was creamy and refreshing, and the tapioca balls were soft and sweet. The worker told me this is Taiwan style boba tea and I needed to mix it all up eighteen times before drinking. Why eighteen times exactly, I'll never know, but the drink tasted good anyway!
