Panda Fest 2025

The Ube Sparkles Souffle Pancakes from Soft Bite at the Panda Fest.

An Asian Food Event with a panda theme at Seattle Center? Sign me up! When I saw the ads for this upcoming food event, I just had to get tickets. I purchased four tickets for Panda Fest in Seattle for my family a few months ago, and I couldn't wait to attend. The panda theme looked so cute, and the food and drinks looked so unique and fun! We paid around $15 per person and we each received an adorable panda pin and headband.

The event was super busy, and the June day was pretty hot. We waited in a line to get in, and then we waited in a ton more lines for food. There were at least 70 food vendors. The event took place at Seattle Center in the Fisher Pavilion. There was a panda bounce house for the kids and panda inflatables for photo backdrops. There were also tons of panda merch to buy. I bought some stickers and two panda paper fans.

My son loves Tanghulu, so I bought him one. Each one came with a cute panda marshmallow. We've made this at home, and the sugar can be hard on your teeth. My son loved this one and he polished the whole thing off quickly. Tanghulu is a Chinese treat with fruit covered in a hard candied shell of sugar. Then my husband had some sort of bun with a chicken filling. It was really hot, but he did enjoy it. After that, I wanted something cold to drink so I chose a Lychee and Dragon Fruit juice, which had a long line, and I ended up paying way too much money for. All four of us shared it and we all loved the refreshing flavor.

After cooling off inside the merch area for a minute, we got in another long line at Soft Bite to try a Souffle Pancake. We ordered the Ube Sparkles one and it was so pretty. It also came topped with a panda marshmallow and a cute little paper panda. The four of us polished it off in no time at all. It was really soft and fluffy.

We finished our time at Panda Fest with a Pork Bao Bun for each of us. These hit the spot and were nice and soft, with some pork filling. Then we headed back to our car because our parking was almost up, and we had spent a lot of money by then! This was a fun event with such a good theme. This was the first year Seattle had this event and its really popular in other states. They did sell out of tickets, and I heard it will be back in Seattle next year. This year it was held June 6-8th, so be on the lookout next year if this kind of event interests you!
