A Visit to T-Mobile Park to watch the Mariners

To celebrate Father's Day weekend our family attended a Mariners game at T-Mobile Park. They played against the Cleveland Guardians and ended up winning 5-4. We arrived almost two hours before the first pitch. It's a good idea to arrive early, since there's a line for security, then you'll want to grab food and drinks before finding your seat. We waited outside for about thirty minutes before entering the stadium. They had a cool hat giveaway and we each received a Steelheads cap. The Steelheads were a Negro baseball team in Seattle in the 1940's. The hats are really nice and have an S for Steelheads on them. What a neat souvenir!

It was really busy and the lines for food were pretty long. My husband and I each started with a Vodka Lemonade. They came in a silver souvenir cup and tasted great! We found our seats and sipped our drinks. The weather yesterday was perfect, and the sun felt amazing. We bought our sons some candy and some Chicken Strips and Fries from Kid Valley. These were expensive, but pretty good tasting. The fries were garlic fries and hit the spot. My husband and I wanted sushi, and it took a while to find it. I ended up getting a Seattle Roll and he got the Ichiroll. My sushi was fresh and yummy, and I ate it while watching the game.

For dessert I tried the Ice Cream Nachos. This item has soft serve ice cream, along with sprinkles, and a side of caramel sauce and chocolate sauce. There are waffle cone pieces for dipping in the sauce and ice cream, creating a fun and whimsical dessert nacho moment. I also bought a neat Mariners pin since we collect pins now and even have a canvas pin display in our office. This pin was a piece of pizza with the Mariners logo, which I thought was fun since I mostly go to baseball games for the food!

Our family had so much fun at T-Mobile Park. We hadn't been to a game in a couple of years, so it was good to be back!
