For delicious Wood-fired pizza in Sequim, WA head to Alder Wood Bistro. The restaurant is on the small side, so I recommend calling and making reservations. The restaurant feels like it's in a house and has a cozy, small town vibe. Alder Wood Bistro reminds me of those amazing, locally owned spots along the OR coast. Friendly people and just really good eats.

They had a solid cocktail list, and the NW Seasonal Cosmopolitan caught my eye. This classic cocktail had a twist. They used Rhubarb Vodka, giving the drink a tart and sweet taste. My husband ordered a drink that resembled a Long Island and came garnished with fresh lavender. So pretty and fitting, since Sequim is known for its lavender. When I tried the cocktail, I could smell the lavender. Lavender is one my favorite things.

We dined with my sister-in-law and her hubby. We all ordered pizza, except for my sister-in-law who ordered the Mussels. The pizza is wood fired, so the crust was on the thin side. I got the Four-Cheese Pizza with Pepperoni. The pizza arrived looking almost too scrumptious for words. I do love me some Pepperoni Pizza. I'd tell you a joke about pizza, but it would be too cheesy. Ha Ha.

Everyone enjoyed their pizza, and my sister-in-law liked the Mussels. The dessert menu also looked good, but we were planning on having dessert back at our aunt's house. We had a nice time catching up and enjoying some bites at this cute spot in Sequim!
