Dining at The Fonte Bar in Downtown Seattle

A Fonte Bar Espresso Martini.

My husband and I had a little day date at The Fonte Bar in downtown Seattle. They opened a few months ago on 4th Ave, across from the 5th Ave Theater. The Fonte Bar has a vibey outdoor patio, with city views and soft breezes. They have lots of seating, along with couches for relaxing and enjoying some martinis.

Their indoor space is also relaxed and spacious. Since they're located inside an office building, I got a very corporate and hotel lobby feel. We ended up sitting inside, since the patio was still a little breezy at that time of day. I got one of their signature Espresso Martinis, the Fonte Bar Espresso Martini. My husband got the Ward #6, which has Grand Marnier and Campari. The drinks packed a punch and were expertly made. To eat, we shared the Duck Confit Poutine. This dish was 10 out of 10 for us. The duck was tender, and you really can't go wrong with fries and gravy.

The prices were steep at The Fonte Bar. But if you enjoy Espresso Martinis, this spot is right up your alley. They also serve brunch, small plates, and dinner. Check out this relaxing bar and restaurant near the 5th Ave Theater, next time you're in the area.
