Dinner at Ohana in Belltown
A Mahalo Mai Tai from Ohana!
Ohana is a delicious spot in Belltown where you'll feel transported to Hawaii. The Aloha spirit feels alive here with friendly service and tropical vibes. From tiki drinks to Hawaiian cuisine, this restaurant's a nice escape from the rainy Seattle weather. The menu has a big variety of Hawaiian and Japanese dishes. From Sushi to classic dishes such as Loco Moto and Chicken Katsu. If Kalua Pork is calling your name, you can order it as a platter with sides such as mac salad and rice, or in slider form with a side of fries. There's something for everyone at this lively Belltown spot, which opened in 1999.
We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and this restaurant ended up being perfect for a celebration. We started with a Mahalo Mai Tai. The drinks are strong here, and one drink was just right. He had the Kalua Pork with the Mac Salad and Rice, and I had the Spicy Salmon Roll. We also ordered the Kalua Slider with Fries for our boys. The pork on both dishes was tender and tasted similar to the other Kalua Pork dishes we've eaten elsewhere. The sushi roll was tasty and fresh!
For dessert, we ordered two! We tried the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake and the Banana Cream Pie. Both were great desserts, but my husband and I loved the Banana Cream Pie! It had an Oreo cookie crust, a thick layer of creamy and really smooth banana pudding, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream. A really yummy BD dessert for sure!
This restaurant is all-ages until 9 pm since it's located right in the bar scene area of Belltown. I really liked the Hawaiian vibes and friendly service, along with the tasty tiki drinks and hearty dishes! The decor was also fun and felt very transportive, which I love!
