Where to find soft serve ice cream in Seattle

Summer, or anytime really, is the perfect time to indulge with an ice cream. Soft serve is my favorite way to enjoy this cool treat and Seattle has some wonderful options. I love how soft, creamy, and dense it is. Soft serve is just fun and playful, and that little swirl on top is just too cute. In the last few years, quite a few spots have opened and we've been able to satisfy our soft serve cravings. There are still a few more places I've yet to try and I'll add a link to those at the bottom of this post. I hope to visit them soon and do more posts. So for now here are are ten spots for soft serve in Seattle.

Homer is a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant located in Beacon Hill. They have soft serve on their menu, but they also have a walk-up window with soft serve and cocktails. We tried their Pineapple ice cream and it tasted a lot like a Dole Whip but more subtle in flavor.

Near Golden Gardens Park by Ballard you'll find these tall and fun cones at Little Coney. Sprinkles are optional, but why not just get them!

We love Trophy Cupcakes for their cupcakes of course, but their soft serve is awesome, too. They have these whimsical cones with cotton candy and they do sundaes, too. The sky's the limit when it comes to treating yourself at Trophy. They have multiple locations, but the U-Village spot is the only location with the soft serve.

Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery is the place in Seattle to really indulge. At their location on Capital Hill you can get yourself some soft serve. I tried a sundae with caramel, pistachios, and caramel corn and it was a really special treat.

Rachel's Ginger Beer serves yummy frozen cocktails using their popular Ginger Beer, but you can also get soft serve there. They even have fun toppings like cookie pieces. They have multiple locations in Seattle. This photo is from their 12th Ave. spot.

Matcha Man is a really popular business that does Taiyaki with soft serve. Their first location will be opening soon in Georgetown. They have only done pop-ups and they always draw big lines. I went to one a couple of years ago and finally tried it. It really was delicious and I'm looking forward to when they have a storefront.

Pick-Quick Drive In in Sodo was a happy discovery. Their ice cream cones were so good and pretty cheap, too. Try the chocolate soft serve. It will totally satisfy!

Nana's Green Tea in South Lake Union is really the spot if you adore Japanese desserts. I tried one of their Parfaits and it was one of the best desserts ever.

Another spot for Japanese treats in Seattle is Matcha Cafe Maiko inside Westlake Center. I've visited twice and the first time I tried a cone with Matcha ice cream and edible gold. Matcha isn't my favorite, but it was interesting to try. This photo is vanilla soft serve with mochi.

Southpaw Pizza has amazing pizza, but they also have soft serve. We tried chocolate with an incredible caramel sauce we poured over the top. Too good!

Here are a few more places I can't wait to check out for soft serve!

Milk Drunk  They're the same owners of Homer and they just opened a Chicken Sandwich, cocktails, and soft serve place nearby in Beacon Hill.

Drip Tea   I've visited Drip Tea and had the boba tea. But I can't wait to try their soft serve. They even serve it in an adorable bear shape, or Beariyaki!

Atulea   Atulea on Capital Hill now serves soft serve with boba which I can't wait to try!

Kakigori Dessert Cafe  This really fun looking cafe just opened on East Madison St. They serve shaved ice and soft serve.
