Five Spots for Soft Serve in Seattle | Part 7
Another year, another soft serve post! This is Part 7 of my Seattle Soft Serve series, and I have another five local spots to showcase. I did my 2024 post around this time last year, and you can see that here. If you want to see the other five posts, just type 'soft serve' into the search box on the top right of the blog on the home page.
I prefer soft serve ice cream because I like the texture better than regular ice cream. I also prefer the presentation. I like how you can swirl two flavors together and the little swirl on top is iconic. Soft serve, either in a cup or cone, is so pretty!
Here are the five Seattle soft serve spots I tried this year.
Hood Famous Bakeshop
Day Made Kaffe
Cassetta
Bellevue gained a new spot this year for Thai Tea, Bubble Tea, and Soft Serve. We visited Omo Thai Tea the week they opened and waited in line to try it. We ordered the Thai Tea Soft Serve with chocolate syrup. We couldn't get over how creamy and full of Thai Tea flavor it had. Highly recommend this spot if you love Thai Tea. You can see the post from our visit here.
Most people in Seattle know how insanely good the Detroit-Style pizzas are at Moto Pizza. But don't sleep on the Soft Serve for dessert. They have several locations in the Seattle area now, and even one in Bellingham. So, it's not hard to get your hands on their pizza and ice cream now.
Last week we checked out the Cassetta Pop-Up at the Thai restaurant Di Fiora. Since it was Halloween, they had a Wicked cone. It was so pretty! It had a Matcha and Strawberry Powder and was actually non-dairy. Cassetta isn't technically a Seattle soft serve spot, they're from Beverly Hills, but they do regular Pop-Ups monthly in Seattle, so it does count for our list! See the post from our visit to Di Fiora here.
Omo Thai Tea
Moto Pizza
On our last visit at the beginning of the year, we tried the soft serve. They have some unique flavor options! We tried a swirl of Watermelon and Blue Goo, which is Blue Raspberry. Then I had them top it with Fruity Pebbles, and this was a solid move. You can add a topping for $1. See my post here from our lunch at Bellevue Square.
That's all five spots for now! Hopefully I'll have more to share in the future!
