Dinner at 1285 Restobar in Florence, OR
A small Pepperoni Pizza just for me from 1285 Restobar.
During our stay in Florence, OR we enjoyed some memorable and tasty meals. One of my favorites was at 1285 Restobar, a lively and warm trattoria located in Old Town. The menu has a diverse selection of Italian eats. Along with pizza and pasta, there's fresh salads and seafood. The ingredients are local and organic so you know whatever eat will be fantastic.
Our family was in the mood for pizza. They offer personal 8 inch pizzas, so my husband and I each ordered one. I chose Pepperoni and he had the Margherita Rustica. Our sons shared a cheese pizza. But first, cocktails! He had a Manhattan and I selected one that sounded too good to pass up- a Blueberry Squeeze Martini. This pretty drink had Blueberry Vodka, puree, orange liqueur, and lemon. It was both perfectly sweet and sour.
Our pizzas arrived hot and steaming to our table. Right away I could tell they'd be good. Because you eat with your eyes first, right? The pizza was high quality and oh so good. It was really decent pizza, especially for a small town on the Oregon Coast. Over the years I've found it challenging to find great pizza on the coast.
Instead of ordering dessert, I ordered another cocktail. Since their drink menu was so yummy sounding, I wanted to try another. I chose a 1285 Colada. It was a Pina Colada on the rocks and was really refreshing! Even their restroom was fun. There was a wheel with food photos that you could play with. Just give it a spin to see what food you feel like eating.
There were three seating options when we visited at the beginning of October. You can dine outside in front of the restaurant, inside, or in their charming outdoor space. This is one of Florence's top spots to dine. If you're in the area and craving Italian, then pay them a visit!
