A Visit to GameWorks

A visit to GameWorks in Seattle is one way to escape this cold winter we're having. Lately there have been mostly cold, rainy, and even some snowy days. I'm always looking for indoor places to hang out and escape the chill. My sons had never been to GameWorks and they love arcades, so it seemed like the perfect place to play. There's two levels of video games, a bar, and a restaurant. We played some games and then had a late lunch in the restaurant.

They are kid friendly and have a kids menu with crayons. My boys tried the Chicken Tenders with fries and the Cheeseburger Sliders with Fries. I started with a Lime Margarita and I also ordered one of the Jumbo Soft Pretzels to share. It had a nice cheese sauce and honey mustard and was so big it hung from its own stand. I also ordered one of their signature shakes that looked so fancy. I chose the Schokolade which was their chocolate malt shake with Kitkat, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce. It also came with half of a giant soft pretzel. The chocolate wasn't overly sweet and I liked how the shake wasn't too thick. I shared with my sons and they stole the Kitkat. But I was glad they helped me drink it because I wouldn't have been able to finish.

After eating we played more games. My favorite game was the Air Hockey tables which my son and I played. My other son had a lot of fun playing the driving games with my husband. With over 20,000 square feet of fun, you'll surely have a great time here!
