John Howie Steak and Snowflake Lane

Tonight my husband and I drove to Bellevue and ate at John Howie Steak in the Bravern Shops and then saw Snowflake Lane at Bellevue Square.  It was Happy Hour so we grabbed a nice corner table with cushy red chairs in the bar and we each ordered the $9 Cheeseburger.  I was expecting a small burger with no fries since John Howie Steak is so nice and nine bucks is cheap for a restaurant like this one.  But when they brought our burgers out, they came on a large plate with a huge bowl of fries and oh yeah, the burger was a half pound of USDA prime beef.  One of the best burgers we've eaten in a while, it was cooked to perfection and even had Beecher's flagship reserve cheddar.  Go and get this burger!  Just make sure its happy hour time.  Snowflake Lane was super crowded as usual. There was so many people you couldn't see anything.  Snowflake Lane happens at Bellevue Square at this time every year and happens nightly at 7:00.  There's drummer boys on stilts, music and artificial snow that falls and everyone just loves.

My USDA 1/2 lb. ground prime sirloin burger with Beecher's flagship preserve cheddar and Kurobuta bacon.  It was huge and I didn't finish it all, almost, but not quite.
The upscale Bravern Shops in Bellevue has  Neiman Marcus, Louie Vuitton, Jimmy Choos and more.  The shopping center was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
