Dinner at Homegrown Public House in Florence, OR

We did a lot of dining out during our visit to Florence, Oregon. There's some great and tasty restaurants in town. Homegrown Public House and Brewery was one of our favorite meals during our stay. It's located in Old Town, a charming downtown area with filled with places to eat and shop. This restaurant is popular with the locals and serves nourishing and delicious eats. The space is cozy and welcoming, and right away you notice how good the food smells.

They don't have have a full bar, but they do serve some specialty craft cocktails. My husband went with one of his favorites, a Manhattan. I chose an Anne's Cordial. It had Wild Roots Huckleberry Vodka, raspberry, cranberry, marionberry, and a splash of soda.

To eat I chose a BLT on Sourdough Bread. The sandwich was huge and it was enough for two meals. It was packed with a thick layer of bacon, lots of lettuce, and tomatoes. I used to love BLT's when I was a teenager and was working my first job in a cafe. What a treat these were with some fries and a soda! These are sandwiches I don't indulge in too often, but maybe I should.

My husband had a salad topped with fresh grilled Salmon. They also have a kid's menu and my boys had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. And when the weather permits, they have a nice outdoor area for dining.
