Food and Drinks we tried in May and June

Today is the last day of June, so I'm recapping some of the food and drinks we tried in both May and June that I didn't already feature in other posts! They're mostly desserts and drinks, since spring and early summer were filled with fun times out and celebrations.

Matcha Man in Georgetown not only has delicious soft serve, but you can also order Matcha and other drinks. Last time I tried a soft serve float slushie featuring Strawberry Lychee. This was absolutely refreshing and tasted so good!

Mr. Dim Sum at Westfield Southcenter now has a full bar. We stopped in one day while shopping and I tried a lavender martini that tasted perfect! My husband's Old Fashioned was also very good. Now you can get cocktails with your Dim Sum at the mall.

Marco Polo Bar and Grill in Georgetown is a local institution and has been open for decades. It feels like a neighborhood dive bar, and the drinks are strong. I liked my Old Fashioned, and we also ordered the Fried Pickles, which were really great!

Lottie's Lounge in Columbia City is an under the radar bar with strong drinks. I had an Old Fashioned while my husband had a Manhattan.

At the beginning of June, we celebrated our nephew's graduation at Buca Di Beppo. There was a lot of food served family style, and we all loved the Tiramisu and Cheesecake for dessert!

June 5th was National Doughnut Day, so we celebrated by getting a free doughnut at Krispy Kreme!

At Liberty in Capitol Hill, I ordered one of the best Espresso Martinis I've had. The glass was nice looking, and the drink was especially good!

The World Cup has been happening this month and into July, and some local ice cream spots and bakeries are doing a World Cup Passport with sundaes! I tried the one at The Flora Bakehouse and it was a really tasty Pavlova one with fresh berries, soft serves, meringue, and whipped cream. You get a punch card for each sundae you try, and the card gets entered into a drawing where you can win money.

Our family liked Post Pike in Georgetown for their fresh pizza and yummy drinks. On our last visit I tried a POG Margarita and really liked it! POG is Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava and is such a good combo of fruit to have in a drink or dessert. We also had a slice of pizza to go with it outside on their patio.

We went to an Asian store in Beacon Hill, and I found these Labubu chocolates. It was actually tasty chocolate and even had popping candy inside.

Today we went to Costco and I finally tried the new seasonal sundae, the Strawberry Shortcake Sundae! I got a swirl of vanilla and strawberry soft serve, and it was delicious. It had strawberries and pound cake pieces, too!

That wraps up our extra May and June eats and drinks. Cheers to July, since it's already upon us!
