Where to dine, drink, and grab a coffee along 5th Avenue

Looking for some inspo for dining along or around 5th Ave? Maybe you're seeing a show at the 5th Ave Theater, or you're wondering what coffee shops are around? Check out this post if you're in downtown and need some ideas! 

My husband and I had lunch at Frolik Kitchen and Cocktails, located inside the Hilton Motif hotel on 5th Ave. This is a rooftop restaurant on the 5th floor. The rooftop dining is currently under construction, so we sat in the indoor dining room. The dining room recently received an updated look. We've visited Frolik a couple of times before and enjoyed ourselves outside on the rooftop patio.

I started with an Espresso Martini. My husband enjoyed a Manhattan. He ordered the Lobster Rolls, and it came with three small rolls, almost a reconstructed version. They came with a side of fries. I had the Salmon Chowder which was on the smaller side for the price. I enjoyed the salmon and the salmon roe on top. 

I also wanted to showcase Olympia Coffee. This local coffee company has a location along 5th Ave, and it's in a beautiful and open space. I've visited their location in Columbia City and really enjoyed the coffee. At the downtown Seattle space they have a walk-up window, and it looked pretty busy. We didn't get any coffee, but we did walk around and look at the space. 

Another option for cocktails and maybe a light bite is The Fonte Bar at Rainier Sqaure. Located just across the street from the 5th Ave Theater is this spot that specializes in Espresso Martinis. We've visited once before and enjoyed our experience. On this visit we sat at the bar and tried a Dirty Chai Espresso Martini. Made perfectly, we loved the flavors of the chai with the house made vanilla syrup, espresso, and vodka.
