A Visit to Gong cha in Capitol Hill

A Creme Brulee Strawberry Latte Milk Tea from the new Gong cha location in Capitol Hill, Seattle.

At the beginning of October, Gong cha its first location in Seattle. They opened in Capitol Hill, but Tacoma will also soon be opening their location. Gong cha first opened their first bubble tea store in 2006 in Tawain. They're known for their signature milk foam, which blends perfectly with the freshly brewed teas.

At their Capitol Hill location, you order your tea on a screen, and then they'll call your name when your order is ready. I got a Creme Brulee Strawberry Latte Milk Tea. It was cool watching them make my drink, using a small torch for the Creme Brulee topping. I almost fell over when I tasted my drink. The creamy topping was just so delicious, and the strawberry milk tea was perfectly sweet and fruity. Oh my. I should have ordered a large size; this was so tasty.

Bubble Tea shops are everywhere in the Seattle area, and it's so fun trying new spots!

Have you tried Gong cha before? What is your favorite type of bubble tea?
