Beverely and Herbert's Big Day | Photographing a Wedding at Salty's on Alki

 

Congratulations to Beverely and Herbert on their special day! I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding last month. 

At the end of September, I had the opportunity to capture the wedding of Beverely and Herbert. They got married on Alki Beach at Salty's. This iconic seafood restaurant offers views of Alki Beach, Puget Sound, and the Seattle skyline. They have several event spaces inside the restaurant. 

Beverely and Herbert's wedding was on the small side, so they rented out a room with one long table for their guests to have a reception meal. This space led to an outdoor space where they did the ceremony. The outdoor deck offered sweeping views of the Puget Sound and the skyline. There were tables for the guests and a firepit for chillier days. 

Since the bride and groom saw each other before the ceremony I was able to take some formal shots of them posing together and separately. For the ceremony I got as close as I could to capture those special moments of saying "I Do". After the ceremony I took a bunch of family photos and bridal party photos. Then I took some of their cake and the bride and groom posing by the cake. This was a small, but beautiful wedding, full of special moments I hope Beverely and Herbert will never forget!
