Dinner at Barrio

My husband and I checked out Barrio on Capital Hill for our latest date night.  Seattle Times claims it "burst with urban energy" and I'd have to agree.  They also have one of the best happy hours on Capital Hill.  We were lucky to catch it, as the tacos were $3.50 and the enchiladas $5.  I'm still thinking about the Oaxaca cheese on my Chipotle Braised Chicken enchilada.  I also tried the Chili Braised Pork taco which packed a lot of flavor and was served on a corn tortilla.  But we started with chips and the made to order guacamole.  I liked the fresh tomatoes on top and it was a great start to the meal.  I washed it down with a House Margarita.  I loved the décor and the three hundred candles that they actually light each evening.  The hallway to the restrooms had candles on panels in the wall, which I enjoyed.  It was a hot day and we sat inside but next to the side of the restaurant that opens up onto the patio.
