A Saturday in Downtown Seattle

There are lots of signs that Seattle is getting back to normal since the pandemic started in March of 2020. It's actually busy again in downtown. My family and I went to downtown this weekend and had lunch and then walked around Pike Place Market. The market was busy with visitors and locals alike. Most businesses had lines outside. I hadn't seen crowds like that in a while and it felt normal again. I also took some architecture photos of some of Seattle's iconic buildings. The day was gorgeous and I loved the dark blue sky.

We had lunch at Von's 1000 Spirits, one of our fav spots to dine. I love their Sourdough Pizza and their cocktails. They have the most unique and tasty drinks in Seattle. This time I treated myself to a Huckleberry Mint Julep. It came in a cute copper mug and looked so pretty. A Mint Julep was one cocktail I'd always wanted to try. This one was special because of the huckleberry syrup. The drink was nice and strong and tasted good and sweet from the huckleberry syrup. My husband had an Old Fashioned and we also shared a Mai Tai. The garnishes on both drinks were so pretty. Our pizza tasted amazing. It had goat cheese, pesto, and sun dried tomatoes. Everything we ordered disappeared quickly!
