A Weekend Getaway to Sequim
Sequim, Washington is located near the Olympic Mountains and is fifteen miles from Port Angeles. To get there from Seattle you can take a thirty five minute ferry ride to Bainbridge Island. Then it is just an hour drive to Sequim. It's a small and quiet area compared to Seattle and makes for a nice weekend getaway. My husband has family there and we love to visit them. There's also a beach we always visit, too. This was the first time with our sons and their favorite part about the beach was throwing rocks and sand, making it a different experience from the times it was just my husband and I. But it was a fun and memorable weekend, none the less.

The beach we visit every time in Sequim. Funny, we can't remember the name of it though. |
All roads lead to Rome? Or Sequim! |
Sweet and Sour Chicken from The Moon Palace is always a good idea. |
The pastries from Pane d' Amore Bakery were delicious. |
The totem pole at the Civic Center in downtown caught my eye. |
Take a seat and relax, you're in Sequim! |
