Soft Serve from Omo Thai Tea in Bellevue
Bellevue now has a hot new spot for Thai Tea and Soft Serve. They just opened and you'll probably stand in a line, but it will be worth it. If you like Thai Tea, this is your spot. I was also happily surprised to see they have soft serve and Thai Tea floats. Omo Thai Tea has a founder from Thailand and they're excited about sharing the bold and rich flavors of Thai Tea in creative and tasty ways.
The store itself is tiny, with just enough room to order your ice cream or drink at a kiosk and then wait outside while they make it. We waited in a line for about 20 minutes. Then they quickly called my name and placed a drool-worthy cup of soft serve in my waiting hand. My son and I decided to order a Thai Tea soft serve and we had it topped with chocolate syrup. The ice cream had a perfect creamy texture. The flavor of Thai Tea was nice and subtle, just the right amount of flavor since it was my son's first time trying anything Thai Tea.
Their Thai Tea floats also look unique and so refreshing. If Thai Tea is your jam, or you just love soft serve in the summertime, you'd love this spot near Bellevue Square!
