A Visit to the Titanic Exhibition in Seattle

My family and I checked out the Titanic Exhibition in Seattle! This is an exhibit you can buy tickets for and is located on the Seattle waterfront in the Maritime Building. This exhibit is in Seattle for a limited time, I believe a couple of months. It has been on display in other cities such as London, NYC, Vegas, and more.

The Titanic exhibit is an immersive look at the history of the ship that sunk in 1912. You'll learn the true stories about the passengers and see real artifacts. It was interesting learning more about the ship and the people who worked on board. I liked walking down the replica of a hallway of the First-Class cabins. They was also a replica of an iceberg on display you could touch that was actually made out of ice. I enjoyed reading letters and postcards from the passengers.

The exhibit is set up like a museum and didn't feel commercial at all. It was all about the history of the Titanic and there was no mention about the Titanic movie at all. Everyone is given an audio guide when they enter. The narrator talks slowly, and it does take a while to go through each number. There are almost 40 numbers which give you info about each photo on display. Without the audio guide, you would pretty much miss out on the exhibit.

Anyone who enjoys studying history or would like more info on the Titanic would really like this exhibit. I appreciated being able to see actual items from the passengers. This was so immersive and interesting to go to!
