Fun at Cars Land at DCA! 

This post has a ton of photos from our day at DCA! There was a lot we missed, but that just means we'll have to go back. The main areas we saw were Pixar Pier, Cars Land, and we ate in Avengers Campus. It's difficult to do it all in one day. These theme parks are set up that way, so you have to spend more money for repeat visits. 

We loved Cars Land. If you've seen the Pixar Cars movies, you'll recognize everything in this area. They've recreated the town of Radiator Springs and all of the signs and shops are just like the movie. The ride Radiator Racers is super popular with long wait times. We waited about 45 minutes. This ride is worth the wait! An absolute blast and looks just like the movie. The ride goes fast, which my sons and I loved! 

On Pixar Pier, my son and I waited about an hour to ride the Incredicoaster. This ride is also really popular and is such a thrill! A fun rides for the smaller kids is the Inside Out ride. The ride is short, but oh so cute and fun. When you first enter DCA, you'll be on Buena Vista Street where you'll see a trolley and Cathay Circle. We also walked through Hollywood Land. There was a lot of shops and eateries I'd check out next time. There's some other areas we didn't go like Pacific Wharf. They are currently reconstructing this area and turning it into San Fransokyo with a mini Golden Gate Bridge and new eateries. 

We took a break in the afternoon and went back to our hotel. But before that, we walked through Cars Land and took some photos. After our break, we went back and took more photos at night. Then after dinner, we rode Radiator Racers. The meet and greets with the cars was fun. My son and I got our photos taken with Dinoco, the yellow and blue car. We also saw Lightening McQueen and Mator drive by. Before I knew it, our time at Disney was done. Two days went by fast!

Straight ahead is Cathay Circle, a sit-down restaurant located in an art-deco building modeled after the Cathay Circle Theatre in Los Angeles.

We loved the Toy Story rides and theming at DCA. This looked like a fun carousel ride.
